Election Results So Far #ZambiaDecides

Here is an update from Electoral Commission of Zambia at ten hours today I apologise for not posting earlier as I have been up and down.

So far 80 Constituencies have had their results verified from various Provinces after Voting was extended to today and perhaps even tomorrow.

Justice Ireen Mambilima said that

Six (6) constituencies in Central Province have been received and verified  

Seventeen (17) Constituencies in Copperbelt Province

In Eastern Province so far eight (8) have been verified

Luapula Province, ten (10) Constituencies

Lusaka Province, twelve (12) Constituencies

Muchinga Province, three  (3) Constituencies

Northern Province four, (4) Constituencies

North Western Province , five (5) Constituencies

Southern Province, twelve (12) Constituencies

Western Province, three (3) Constituencies

The total number of registered voters in all these constitutions is  Three Million, zero three four nine two zero (3,049, 20).

 One million zero four nine, four one eight ten thousand one hundred and seventy one (1 049,418).

The average voter turnout in the Eighty Constituencies tabulated so far is 34.58%

Since the election is basically just between Edgar Chagwa Lungu and Hakainde Hichilema here are the figures from the E.C.Z .
80 Constituencies

Patriotic Front - 533,613 , (50.8%) so far of total votes verified.

United Party for National Development - 474, 076 , (45.1 %)
